Hi! I’m Brooke, the blogger behind Pumps & Push-Ups.
I started this space in 2013, when I was learning the ropes as a new mom and looking to get in tip top shape! What started as a way to share my fitness journey blossomed into a full blown lifestyle blog. I’m 4’10” and the lone little lady in my house. I have two boys (ages 6 and 2) and a man’s man of a husband (who takes the occasional break from his manly duties to take my blog pictures). I use this blog of mine as a creative outlet to share not only a little about my love of fitness (as it was originally intended for) but also my petite style, home decor, DIY, and my life as a mom. I’m a business grad and work part-time as a practice administrator for a medical office, but most of my time is spent with my boys and on this blog! I hope I can inspire you through Pumps & Push-Ups to try something new, add a little something pretty to your life or even just make you laugh from time to time.
If you’ve been following Pumps & Push-Ups from the beginning, you know that I didn’t always run this space by myself. My sister-in-law Erica helped me start this blog, sharing not only her knowledge as a Registered Dietitian, but also her fun loving, laid back style. She now blogs over at A Waste Not Kind of Life, spreading awareness for living a sustainable life. You will also see her from time to time on Pumps & Push-Ups as well!
