Hi! I’m Brooke, the blogger behind Pumps & Push-Ups. I started this space in 2013, when I was learning the ropes as a new mom and looking to get in tip top shape! As a business grad, I didn’t have a full background in fitness, but always loved it. However, I am a craver of knowledge, so instead of just learning how to lose a few pounds, I decided to learn how to be a personal trainer and pursued an ACSM certification. Why just help myself, when I could help others too, right?! Since then, I have used Pumps & Push-Ups to share not only what I have learned about fitness, but also my personal style, recipes, DIY projects, home decor and of course, the mom life. If I had to sum up what Pumps & Push-Ups is all about, I would say – fashion, fitness and the utmost desire to always learn something and try something new.
If you’ve been following Pumps & Push-Ups from the beginning, you know that I didn’t always run this space by myself. I am lucky to have a talented and intelligent Registered Dietitian as my sister-in-law, Erica. Erica’s nutrition knowledge is the perfect compliment to this little blog of mine, so although she is not a full time blogger in this space, she does contribute that credible knowledge of hers on many projects with me!
