There is nothing quite as painful and embarrassing as a forehead burn from your curling iron. You see that bad boy on my forehead? I could’ve photoshopped it out, if I’m being honest, I often photoshop my scars out of my pictures. For example, mosquitos love me, so my legs often have a mosquito bite or two I have to photoshop out and I have scar from a flat iron burn on my upper arm. How did I burn my upper arm with a flat iron? Oh you know, just trying to lazy iron a ruffle sleeve top. But, this forehead burn, I decided to just let it be. Back when I had those really cool, 80s/90s curly bangs, I used to rock a forehead burn quite often, it was like my trademark.
I know, if I didn’t point it out, you probably wouldn’t have noticed the burn. Because this dress would distract you, right?! I introduced you to PinkBlush last week and this is another cutie pie that came in my package.
This dress has a boho vibe to me and I’m not much of a boho girl. But I loved the floral print, high low hem and the twirl factor. The floatier the skirt, the better. The dress is light and airy and the straps are adjustable; winner! I wore my favorite wedges from last year and a kendra scott necklace to finish off the look. My wedges are sold out, but I did find a dupe for you!
You can find me wearing a as many bright and bold distracting pieces I can, ya know, to hid the big ol’ forehead burn. 😀
Have a great Monday!
