When I first spotted the Sam Edelman Penny Boots on Shopbop, I had no idea how popular they were. I just knew they were cute, affordable at their sale price and surprise, in my size! So, I snatched them up. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago when I was lying in a dental chair during my annual cleaning that I had any idea of their popularity. Lying there mouth open the hygienist commented, “are those the Sam Edelman boots that are kind of like the Frye boots? I love those!”. I took it as a great minds think alike moment.
Then it happened, I noticed them everywhere, across the blog world, walking down the street, everywhere! Don’t get me wrong, I have no problems wearing a popular item, I just had no idea they were that popular. Honestly, I’m not surprised, they are excellent quality, have a great fit, are super soft and comfortable and as I mentioned before, actually affordable! Many lovely ladies have even commented they prefer the shaft circumference and calf height to the very similar Frye button boots.
So, I hoped on a bandwagon without knowing it, much like the blanket scarf I purchased from Target about a month ago and then subsequently saw it on nearly every single blog I visited that week, ha. No shame in great minds thinking alike!
