2021 Favorites: Beauty
I’m not a beauty blogger by any means but this year I’ve found some pretty great things I think you’ll love too! My hair went through a transformation this year in particular so many of my favorites are hair related.

Living Proof Dry Volume Blast
I’m going to start with my favorite, the Volume Blast spray from Living Proof. I have fine thin hair, that always wants to just be flat. I really have come to just accept that my curls don’t like to stay put and that’s just how it is – until I started finding products that actually worked. This volume spray is one of them! I spray it on my roots after styling and brush my hair out. It helps my curls stay and gives my hair more volume than its ever had.

Amika Perk Up
My stylist recommended this dry shampoo and I love it! Since my hair is fine and thin it really just look blah in between washing. I find a lot of dry shampoos to be itchy and also heavy on my hair. This one is talc free so it’s not itchy, smells amazing and doesn’t leave a heavy powder residue in your hair. I use this also to add a little texture to my hair after curling to keep it from going flat.

Olaplex
Olaplex lives up to the hype. Since coloring my hair early in the year, my hair has needed a little TLC. It’s hard to take dark brown hair to blond so I’ve had some dryness and breakage, especially around my face. I started using the Olaplex system, the mask, shampoo, conditioner, and bond smoother before drying and it’s made a difference!

T3 Curling Iron
This is another one I bought because I saw many rave reviews across social media. It’s not just a pretty curling iron, it’s legit. My curls stay better with this curling iron. I curl my hair vertically and pull the curls down with the clip closed to create my waves.

GHD Dryer
Since my hair had a little bit of struggle after coloring it, I wanted to be as kind to it as I could. I often will let my hair air dry, but when I want to make sure I get lift and a polished style I’ll blow dry it. This dryer definitely cut down drying time and makes my hair silky.

Drunk Elephant Vitamin C Serum
I still use Skin Resource.MD for my skincare routine, but I’ve started to try some other products as well, especially clean products. I’ve tried a few Drunk Elephant products, but this Vitamin C Serum made the most notable difference to me. It instantly tightens skin and leaves it bright!

Makeup Favorites
I haven’t changed much of my makeup routine this year, so I’ll just share the tried-and-true favorites that I wear daily. First, my favorite lip duo is NYX lip liner in “Brooklyn Thorn” topped with Revlon matte in “Seduction”. I also really love IT Cosmetics Superhero Lash! I’m linking all of my routine products below.
