Rise and shine beautiful! It’s a bright and shiny new day for you to take on. Whether the morning finds you refreshed and awake or hiding under the covers pushing the snooze button a couple more times, this 5 step routine will have you out the door in under an hour and is sure to jumpstart your mind and body for a radiant day!
Step 1. Stretch it out! (5 minutes)
Before you even roll out from under those comfy covers, warm up your muscles and shake off the bedtime aches. By stretching out before going about your day, you’ll have better posture, avoid nagging headaches and backaches from stiff muscles and you’ll get a nice dose of energy.
Hold each stretch for 30 seconds
Upper Back Release
Chest Release
Spinal Twist
Neck Roll
Roll Down\Up
Hamstring Stretch
Step 2. Breakfast Time! (10 minutes)
Grab a glass of water while you whip up a healthy breakfast! Breakfast not only jump starts your metabolism but a healthy breakfast also provides your brain with the fuel it needs to tackle the day.

Step 3. Clean up!

Grab a quick shower, brush your teeth, comb your hair; you know, all of your daily rituals. Wrap your hair in a towel and head over to your closet to grab today’s outfit.
Step 4. Dress up!

Getting dressed in the AM is so important for me! I work from home and can find myself in my running pants at 2pm. I hate that! Thanks for the boost of encouragement! Susan
I’m so bad about eating breakfast right away – I usually wait until I get to work, but on the weekends I am so good at this lol!! This was such a great read girls! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston
I always drink a large glass of water right when I get up. Thanks for sharing your tips for getting the day off to the right start!

I really need to stretch when I wake up. I always wake up sore, with no energy and this is a great idea!

It really makes a big difference!
I personally will wake up a little bit earlier to enjoy breakfast, but that’s only because I’m starving right when I wake up!
Haha! I don’t blame ya!
Thanks girl!! Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day!
Thanks Rach! I don’t always fit the stretching in, but when I do, it makes a big difference.
Thanks Kendal!
Thanks Victoria!
When I was younger I used to stretch all of the time and then I started to leave it out of my routine and really noticed a difference!
This is a great post. I always, always eat breakfast before I leave in the mornings! It makes my day so much better.

haha I can relate, mornings can be tough to get moving but having a good routine really helps to keep from having to run out the door frantically.
Great morning routine, I need to also focus on reading my bible and listening to a sermon in the am. I can’t get enough of Tim Keller right now.
God bless,
XO, Claire
