Remember the days of being too cool to wear a coat? My son is still in that phase of life, where he would rather freeze than be caught dead in a coat. I give him the side eye in the morning as he shivers at the bus stop in a pair of shorts.
I understand, because I was once there, wearing a pair of heels in the snow (I was once that extra). I’ve since moved on. I like to look cute of course, and y’all know I love a good outfit, but if it’s not comfortable and warm during the fall and winter, I’m not wearing it! If I’m being honest, I’ll wear something just to be warm, whether it’s all that cute or not, I’ve officially hit that phase in my life.
Last year, I wrote about Cuddl Duds and my love for their layering tops. They’re not only the perfect base layer to be worn under shirts and jackets, they’re also great on their own. You’ll be warm and comfortable without sacrificing style. I’ve been wearing them ever since.
6 Cute and Cozy Outfits for Fall and Winter With Cuddl Duds
Cuddl Duds Comfortwear Cowl Tunic
First up, an outfit I wear to the bus stop, to run errands and around the house. It’s so comfortable! The comfortwear cowl tunic has that wonderful tunic length that covers your backside, which personally makes me feel better when wearing a pair of leggings. Plus, the inside is super soft and warm. I wear mine on its own or layered with a vest or jacket for extra warmth. Side note, a question I get often is where to find leggings for petites. I always recommend buying the cropped length! The pair I’m wearing here is just a standard crop, they’re still somewhat cropped on me, but they’re nearly full length.
Cuddl Duds Softwear Crewneck
The softwear tees are my favorite thing from Cuddl Duds. They are stretchy, sikly and so comfortable. They’re a great base layer for really cold days, but they’re also really cute on their own.
I personally love to tuck them in because they have a close fit and it makes for a really seamless look. I have this top in olive, black and ivory.
Cuddl Duds Softwear V-Neck
This tee is the same as the crewneck, just with a v-neck. Same silky feel, same flattering fit. I like to layer this one under button down top.

There ya’ have it! Proof that you don’t have to sacrifice your comfort for style. For what it’s worth, everything else I’m wearing in this post, I also consider very comfortable. I think I just may be past the days of being uncomfortable just to look cute, what about you?
