This pencil skirt, is the answer to my St. Patrick’s Day attire. You just cannot go through this day without a touch of green. You just can’t. Even if you’re not all that into celebrating, there will be at least one person who’s all “I’m going to pinch you” and the day is ruined. So, when I saw this skirt online, my first thought was I love the color and then my second thought was, it’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, thank you J. Crew Factory.
Aside from wearing a little green on this day year after year, St. Patrick’s Day wasn’t really all that special to me, until about 12 years ago, when I met my hunky husband. You see, this day happens to be his birthday and every year, we celebrate it in green. Then, about two years ago, our littlest was born on March 15, just two days shy of the lucky day. So this time of year and this day in particular are quite special to me now. Happy birthdays all around!
Just for fun, here’s a throwback to his 21st birthday, when I used to rock Vera Bradley like it was going out of style.
So, what about you? Are you doing anything fun to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?
