My little boy turned two today. I know what you’re thinking, he’s only two, not twenty, but I still can’t help but feel a little sad about how fast time flies. I feel like it was just yesterday I was wrapping him up like a burrito and ‘shhhhssshhh’ing him to sleep.
Through my first two years as a mom, I have learned A LOT! Most moms will tell you that. I now feel like natural instincts have been unlocked in me. Before Maddox I was terrified of babies. Don’t let me hold them, I may break them. Now I see a newborn and I’m all gimme that baby, let me cuddle them and bounce them.
I realize I haven’t been the best fashion blogger lately. But that is because I have been busy planning a choo choo extravaganza to celebrate a milestone among many for my baby boy.
He no longer just poops and cries, my little man now has a personality complete with a love for trains and being just like mommy.
It was only fitting his birthday party be choo choo themed. Complete with a bounce house, veggie train and a trip to the ‘pumpkin patch’, Maddox and his friends had a great time. Which made for a happy momma.
Thank you to everyone who helped make his celebration special. To Maddox, happy birthday my sweet boy! I love everything you will be and all that you are. Maybe one day you will read this and be highly embarrassed. 🙂
