Thanksgiving was a full day of family, I was lucky enough to have two dinners to attend and lots of family to love on!

Thursday into Friday night, a couple of my best friends and I embarked on our ritual Black Friday shopping spree. I stayed awake for 24 hours and shopped for 12 hours! I was straight exhausted, but those crazy girls slept a couple more hours and went back out. I’m not that hardcore, but did get some great deals and had lots of fun. Needless to say, my sleeping schedule is totally thrown off, but it was so worth it!
Then, because I’m a very ritualistic person, I started decorating for Christmas like I do every year the weekend after thanksgiving. This year, we chose to chop down a fresh tree which is something we haven’t done before. I used to go with my dad as a kid and chop down trees and always hated the bushy Virginia trees, but with two cats and a toddler, our artificial tree took a dirt nap last year, so I’m hoping a big bushy real tree will hold up a little better!
