The Perfect Shirt For All Your Summer Parties
I wore this shirt to work a few weeks ago and my boss asked me if I was wearing a lampshade. He then said no it’s not a lampshade, you should be wearing a sombrero with it. Meanwhile, everywhere else I’ve worn this top, allll the ladies have been throwing compliments my way. Us girls, we get it, if there are poms involved, it’s party time. So, no this top has nothing to do with a lampshade, but I could get down with a sombrero, because it’s totally fiesta ready.
Can you guess where it’s from? If you read my blog at all, you’re probably aware that I shop at literally like 3-4 stores – so which one is it? J. Crew Factory of course. While it’s cute as a button in my opinion, it doesn’t come in petite, so for all my petite girls, be warned it runs a little large.
I’ve worn it with slacks to work, with denim shorts and sandals and on this particular day; with a pair of riviera shorts and the Treasure and Bond wedges I waited a few weeks for. If you’re wondering if these wedges are worth the hype, they are. I finally caved and bought me a pair after seeing them on Shelly. They’re the perfect height, color and thickness in the front for me! They were backordered when I first ordered them, but they were so worth the wait. For me, they were true to size, and pinched just a little in the front when I first wore them. However, they stretched out quickly and now fit like a dream.
