I first shared this pair of mom jeans from Abercrombie in my recent 10 items 20 outfits post. They didn’t own a place in my closet before I shared my denim post, so I knew they needed their own style session.
These jeans come in an x-short length that is actually cropped on petites. Normally we’re buying the cropped jeans and ending up with regular length – but the 22″ inseam actually lets us short gals have a cropped jean. They also have nice pocket placement on the back, none of that pockets halfway up your back nonsense. They are rigid so when you first put them on they feel a little tight, but they do give with wear. I went up one size in these.

Tucked in Blouse
While I love this little white eyelet top from Target, really any pretty blouse would recreate this outfit. I did a full tuck here, but you can do half or none if you prefer. I personally like to tuck in my tops with mom jeans to show the higher rise and draw attention to the waist. This top in particular is see-through in white, but not the other colors. I’m wearing a cami under my top. The shoes are new to me also and I can’t wait to wear them this spring and summer. The modern square toe is definitely in this season and I like that this pair has that but it isn’t too harsh.

Henley + Mules
I really love the wash of these jeans and this blush top together – it’s light and neutral for spring. The shoes are a great neutral option for spring that can be dressed up or down. I went up 1/2 a size in them.

Racerback + Sandals
This outfit is definitely more late spring/early summer, but I wanted to share this great layering tank top! It comes in lots of colors and has a close fit. Perfect for tucking into jeans, shorts, or skirts.

With a Blazer
