Over the weekend I did a little Instagram story try-on with a few things I found at Old Navy. I don’t do story try-ons all that often, but I asked if you wanted to see a Reels or the story try-on and the story won by a landslide. It also had a great response after the fact, so I’ll be sure to add more of those in.
However, I also wanted to share a little on the blog because I know not all of my readers are on Instagram. I also uploaded the try-on on Pinterest for my followers over there!
Old Navy Petite Spring Finds
When it comes to Old Navy Petites, it’s a little hit or miss for me, in terms of sizing. Some of their items are great and others are just still too big. I ordered several things, but ended up really only loving these few items I’m including in this post.
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” around 105lbs. My bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, 36″.
Petite Friendly Linen Pants
Y’all just loved these pants on Instagram! In terms of top sellers in the last month, these are right up there with the high-waisted mom jeans from Abercrombie. I totally get why – finding petite-friendly linen pants feels impossible! I received tons of requests last summer and couldn’t find a single pair I wasn’t drowning in. So, I was really excited to find this pair and they are pretty much perfect! I tried both this cream striped version and a chambray version. Of the two, the cream striped pair is my favorite because the fabric is a tiny bit heavier and I think the lighter color helps elongate me just a bit. My top is from LOFT and was a favorite of mine last summer. I was excited to see they’ve brought it back this year, it’s definitely one thing I wore weekly last summer.

Poet Top
After a winter full of neutrals I’ve been gravitating to color and prints lately! Especially blousy tops with boho vibes like this one. It has an oversized fit but the proportions have been brought in just right for Petites. The shoulders fit well and the sleeves aren’t too long. I like it tucked all the way in, half-tucked and untucked. It’s a versatile top you can wear with jeans or shorts – you could even dress it up for work. I styled it three ways below.

Tiered Top
Old Navy did a great job with proportions on this top. It has a square neck and a little embroidery at the neckline. It’s swing style and looks great with a pair of jeans! My exact jeans are no longer available, but I’ll link a similar pair of white jeans from the same brand.

Denim Shorts
Last summer my favorite shorts were from Old Navy. They hold up well, are the most comfortable and they’re really affordable. This pair has a nice length without being too tight in the legs. Definitely going to be a favorite this summer!
