Madewell is a brand I always mention whenever I recommend petite jeans. Not every single one of their jeans fits perfectly, like other brands I recommend – like American Eagle – but when you find the fits that do, they’re perfect!
What to Look For at Madewell
Madewell denim is high quality, they will last you for years and year. As far as fit goes, they fit like a glove and only get better with wear. They don’t stretch or bag out, and they’re overall the most flattering jeans I own.
Keep an eye out for their cropped styles for a really great fit and remember to check your inseam in the fit section of the pair you’re looking at. My perfect inseam is 24″.
Top Three Fits of Petite Madewell Jeans
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, around 105 lbs. I wear a size 24 Petite in Madewell jeans.
Skinny Crop
The skinny crop is my everyday jean. I wear this pair the most and find them to be the most comfortable. They’re high rise with a 10″ rise that hits me right at my belly button. They’re the stretchiest of my favorite fits.

Petite Vintage Crop
This pair has the highest rise and is more rigid than my skinny jeans, but I still find them to be comfortable. They’re what Madewell considers their mom jean, but unlike most places – the pockets are actually flattering and not halfway up your back! This pair is true to size, I wear them in 24 Petite.

Petite Cali Demi-Boot Jeans
When it comes to a white pair of jeans, these are by far the best fitting and most forgiving pair I’ve ever owned. They have a comfortable mid-rise and a nice heavy fabric that isn’t see-through! I think the cropped flare is cute and love wearing a pair of heels with them. I can wear these to work and they’re one of my favorites to wear! They’re stretchy and true to size. I’ve had mine for a year now and they wash beautifully every time.
