Many of you have been asking me to find fall dresses! So, I’ve been on the hunt. I found a few great ones that can be dressed up and worn to work in this post. Today, I’m sharing four dresses that are on the casual side and each one touches on a fall trend. They all work now with sandals, but they will also look great with booties come fall!
Four Fall Dresses for Now and Later
Long Sleeve Mini Dress
This first dress is from Old Navy and comes in petite! It is definitely mini in length, but that makes for a really cute look with booties. It is oversized in the body and the sleeves are full (and technically 3/4 length). It comes in two colors and I would consider it to run true to size.

Midi Dress
I picked up this dress thinking of fall family pictures! Old Navy has really started to improve in their petite sizing and I’ve been loving it! In the past, most of their items were too big for me, but I keep finding things with a great fit these days. This dress runs true to size and is a true midi length, even on my 4’10” frame. The puff sleeves are right on the edge of what I’ll wear (I’m not a huge fan of big puff sleeves) and it has functional buttons on the upper part of the front.

Utility Dress
I’ve been seeing utility dresses pop up everywhere! This one is from Pink Lily and fits well overall in XS, but it does run slightly large. The length is fine (it’s a little longer in the back) but there is quite a bit of room in the top on me. It may be a better fit for someone with a larger bust.

Plaid Dress
I first shared this dress in my Now and Later Outfits with LOFT post. It’s been one of my favorite dresses to wear lately. Even with the sleeves, the fabric is soft and comfortable, and not too hot for the end of summer heat. I’m wearing it now with sandals, but later I’ll be adding booties and maybe a denim jacket. This dress runs true to size.

Boots and Booties
I’m working on rounding up some boots and booties for Petites for fall and winter! The pair I’m wearing in this post is from last year and has since sold out, but I’m linking a similar pair for you. If you’re looking for a knee-high boot I recently bought these boots and can’t wait to style them!
