When I first put this skirt on the blog in a recent J.Crew Factory post, I promised you I would style it multiple ways. I always love to help you get more out of items in your closet and as much as I love this particular corduroy skirt, any white fall skirt will work! I’ve styled it five ways today, but it’s one of those things that will make endless outfits.
5 Ways to Wear a White Skirt
First, fit notes about the skirt – it runs true to size. When I first tried it on, it was snug and I almost recommended sizing up in it. However, with wear, it quickly stretched out so your typical size will work just fine. For me, that’s 00.
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” around 105lbs, my bust, waist and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″.
Monochromatic
Monochromatic outfits are beautiful, no matter what color you choose. On someone who is short, it will help you look a tiny bit taller so that’s always a plus! I personally have no beef with wearing white after Labor Day, especially if it’s with things that are fall appropriate, like sweaters and corduroy. I half-tucked the sweater into the skirt here because it’s bulky, which honestly is a little bit of a fussy way to wear it – you may find yourself re-tucking it often through the day. If you prefer I think it can be all the way tucked in or even untucked.

With a Wrap
The skirt pairs beautiful with this wrap from Target as well! I love the colors in this wrap, but I also love that it’s not too big for someone who is petite. I’m going to be styling this more over the fall if you’re curious about more ways to wear it.

With a Blazer
I failed to get this blazer on the blog before it sold out, which is such a bummer! The blazer itself is soft and comfortable, but the color is what really gets me, it’s beautiful. I’ll be on the lookout for it to maybe re-stock. In the meantime, this blazer is a similar option.

With a Moto Jacket
I recently bought this jacket during a Madewell sale, It was a total splurge/investment and is most definitely the most expensive thing I own. To me, it was totally worth it. It’s a classic leather jacket that will last for years and years. I bought it in XXS, and the arms are a little bit snug, but I read that they stretch over time, so I’m sticking with that size to keep the fit slim overall. I’ll also link a couple of similar options that I think will also be petite-friendly and more affordable!

Simple with a Sweater and Flats
Last, I love just letting the skirt shine with a simple light sweater tucked in and comfortable flats. My shoes are a few years old, so I have to link a similar pair for you, but the pair I’m linking is the same style just a different print.
