I have another round of outfits from Nordstrom for you! Similar to my other posts like this one, these outfits would work well for many occasions, but I think it’s always fun to give an event idea with each one.
Three Dresses by Event
My sizing: I’m 4’10” and around 105 lbs. I’m typically a size 00/XXS/24 Petite.
Backyard Party
Over the next month, all of the backyard celebrations start to happen. Graduations, baby/bridal showers, and more. If you’re attending a spring party, you may love a comfortable dress for the occasion. I also have this dress in a green print and loved it so much I was excited to see it come out in other prints. The dress isn’t lined, but the material is thick and not see-through. You can wear a comfortable bra with it and it washes well. If you love it snag it quick, it tends to sell out. On a side note, I am planning a post specific to backyard celebrations with more outfit ideas.

Summer Concert Dress
Of course, what you wear to a concert will depend on the artist you’re seeing, but this dress is a good start! You can add a denim jacket and boots if you’re going to a country concert, or maybe a moto jacket if the artist is a little edgier. The dress is roomy and light, making it great for summer heat and the straps are adjustable. I recommend wearing a bralette or a bandeau style strapless bra with it because of how roomy it is up top, there’s a chance your underlayer will show if you bend over.

Date Night
This outfit would be great for date night, or any occasion you want to be a little dressed up for. If it’s cooler outside, you can add a blazer. The skirt fits well in XS, it’s not necessary, but I did roll the waistband once to shorten the skirt a little bit. It’s easy to do with a skirt like this so I figured why not! I’m wearing a convertible bra with the top (to bring the straps together in the back). The skirt is light and silky so you may want to wear shapewear shorts with it.
