My favorite kind of party is a backyard party. Everyone brings a side dish, burgers on the grill, and lots of conversation in the (hopefully) sunshine. The unofficial start of summer is just a month away and I’m already dreaming about all of the celebrations that will come along with it. I put these outfits together with that kind of event in mind, but they would work well for spring parties now, celebrating birthdays, baby/bridal showers, graduations, and more!
Petite-Friendly Spring & Summer Party Outfits

White Jeans
If white jeans and a backyard party make you nervous, this outfit would look great with regular denim as well. I always like the way white jeans dress up any outfit, but of course – they are a little fussier to wear. This pair in particular fits me well in Petite 24. I like the raw hem and the white button front. The top is an outfit-making top – my favorite kind to wear! It’s going to look great with shorts and skirts too. I’m wearing it in Petite XXS.

Midi Skirt
I love the bright floral print on this skirt and that it’s a true midi-length on my petite frame. It’s comfortable and well made (aka, not thin and see-through). I love the white ruffle top also, but it does dip down a little low in the armholes, just an FYI.

Mini Skirt
This mini skirt is short in petite, so if you want more length, go for the regular sizing. I’m wearing it in Petite XXS. This skirt is also lined and isn’t see through like the midi skirt.

Midi Dress
Last, a simple dress is always an easy choice for a party. I love that this dress is lined and the straps are wide enough for a regular bra. It’s hard to see in the photo, but it has stripes and little pink clip dots all over. I’m wearing it in my true size, Petite XXS.
