Petite-Friendly Black Jeans Outfits for Work

The Jeans
The jeans I’m wearing in this post are from J.Crew Factory. They’re true to size with a stretch. I’m wearing them in Petite 24. I’m wearing the mid-rise option, but they also come in a high-rise option.
All Black
Before you say it’s too hot right now for this outfit, know that I put it together to hit a wide range of areas and workplaces. For some, it’s really cold indoors and they’ve specifically asked me for layers, and for others, they’ve already started to prepare their closet for fall. So, while the sweaters may be a little much for your 90-degree weather at the moment, they may be just right for someone else. This outfit has a sleeveless knit top as the base, which works well for warm weather. The sweater is from Amazon and is thick with rounded sleeves. I’m wearing it in XXS and it has a slightly oversized fit.

Polo Sweater
This outfit definitely caters to fall temps with the sweater on top, but it’s one I know you’ll love having in your closet. The knit is silky and soft and I love the collar on it. This is great one for wearing to work, but also casually with a pair of jeans. I’m wearing it in XXS and it fits true to size.

With a Blazer
A blazer is an easy option to dress up any wash of denim and one I often lean on for wearing to work. The top I’m wearing under my blazer is sleeveless to help make this more appropriate for the season. My blazer is a closet investment that goes through every season and lasts for years. I wear it in Petite 00 and find it to be true to size. If you can snag the shoes, I recommend sizing up 1/2 size.

Long Cardigan
Another outfit combination I lean on a lot for work is a long cardigan. I’ve shown this exact cardigan in nearly every work-related post I’ve shared recently because it’s one of my favorites to wear, not only to work but also for things like a light layer for a movie night. The leopard print top I’m wearing underneath runs a bit large and I would recommend sizing down.
