If I was only going to buy one blazer for fall – it would be a camel blazer. I know for others it would be a black blazer, but I prefer a camel one. Black looks a little formal to me, so while I have one and love it, I tend to wear my camel blazer more often. In case you’ve added one to your wardrobe and want some ideas and color pairings for it – here are five ways to wear one.
For this post, I specifically avoided black, white, and camel combinations because it is the most common one you see. But, yes a camel blazer looks really great with all black, white, or a black and white combo as seen here and here, and I love to wear it that way.

Camel Blazer Five Ways
Sizing Reference: I’m 4’10” and around 105lbs. I typically wear size Petite XXS/00/24.
With Jeans
A camel blazer pairs beautifully with jeans. If you want to go with a printed top underneath choose one with dominant colors that mix well with camel, such as dark fall tones – olive, navy, burgundy, white and black. If I’m wearing a blazer I opt for non-distressed denim, to each their own, but I think it keeps the outfit polished overall.

With an Olive Skirt
It is a little bit of a challenge to pair a blazer with a longer skirt or dress and it not be too overwhelming. I think the key is sticking with a blazer that has a slim tailored fit vs. something that is oversized and wide in the shoulders.

With Navy
Navy looks just as beautiful with a camel blazer as black! You could go with a monochrome all navy base, or go with a printed top as I did here.

With a Dress
The blazer looks just as good with a dress as it does with a skirt. You could stick with a printed version like I have here, or go with a solid dress and either stick with the matching camel pumps or add a printed shoe.

With Burgundy
I think camel really pops alongside burgundy! I went with a slim-fit sweater in the same color to let the pants stand out.
