Although I’ll wear leggings year round, I wear them the most in the winter. There is just something about the blah weather and lack of sunshine that just makes me want to wear only comfortable clothes. Today I’m sharing three different outfits I’ve been wearing lately with leggings.

Petite-Friendly Leggings
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
Aerie Real Me Leggings
Aerie Real Me leggings are my top pick! They come in several colors, are buttery soft, and don’t squeeze and constrict your stomach (a personal pet peeve of mine). I’m wearing them in two of the outfits in black and burgundy. I wear them in XS Short and the length works well on me.
With an Oversized Button-Down
The Aerie Lumberjane top is perfectly oversized and cozy. I’m wearing it in XXS here and you can see it fits me well in the sleeves and has a longer/oversized fit in the body. I jumped on the New Balance 327 trend with these sneakers and have to admit that I love them. The color I chose is “Light Sand”. You may be lucky to snag your size, these sell out quickly and go in and out of stock.

With an Oversized Sweatshirt
There’s nothing groundbreaking about an oversized sweatshirt and leggings, but I felt like this bright pink one from Target was worth sharing with you! The color cheers me up and it’s so soft on the inside. I’m wearing it in XXS and it still has a perfectly oversized fit. When I wear this out, I add crew socks with my Converse as well I just didn’t when I filmed this to save a little time. I adjust the height of the socks (fold them down a little at the ankle) to just meet the top of my sneakers so I don’t add too much bulk to my ankles. The socks help keep the leggings tucked into the shoe and make for a warm and cozy look.

Crzyoga Leggings
Crzyoga on Amazon has a lot of great options for Petites. They were my go-to for petite-friendly joggers until they no longer stocked the cropped option (sad story) but they do still offer many of their leggings in 25″ which works great. The color I’m wearing below is “taupe” and I wear them in XS.
With a Shirt Jacket
This is me secretly hoping J.Crew restocks this puffer shirt jacket. It’s the perfect weight for mild weather and will be great for spring (I also personally wore mine all through the fall). Sizes are limited in my exact color at the moment, but I’m wearing it in regular XXS.
