Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
Pink Dress
This dress is from ASOS Petites and would not only be great for a Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day outfit, it would also make a great dress for an upcoming wedding or baby/bridal shower. It fits me well in my true size US 0 at ASOS. Sometimes I find the sizing to run small at ASOS, but I would go with your true size in this one. The dress is fully lined and overall well made. My shoes are from Ann Taylor and I would recommend going down a 1/2 size if you can. I’m wearing them in my typical size 5, and there is a little bit of room in them on me.

Casual Off-The-Shoulder Top
I personally go for casual when it comes to Valentine’s Day so this outfit is more my personal style. I went for flat shoes but this outfit would also look great with heels or heeled boots depending on your weather. The top fits me well in XS and also comes in other colors. I found it for half the price at Nordstrom, but unfortunately, it is mostly sold out there. It is in stock at Revolve, but a little more expensive. The jeans fit me well in 24 Extra Short, they have a rigid fit and are snug at the waist (but will loosen with wear).

Sweater Dress
If you’re looking for a dressed-up option that will still keep you warm, this sweater dress may be a good option. I like the slit because it shows a little leg, which helps the dress not look too long and overwhelming on someone who is petite. I’m wearing it in Petite XS, but it goes down to Petite XXS. The wide neck needs a strapless bra (or a convertible bra that allows the straps to sit wide may work), I went the quick route with this outfit change and tucked my bra straps down, and the dress ended up getting caught on the straps in the video and photos, which is why you see a little bunching at the armpits. The boots run narrow, you may want to size up 1/2 size. To note, these boots are beautiful, I love that the shaft is petite-friendly, but these are not a pair of boots I would plan to do a ton of walking in.

Flare Jeans
I chose a pair of white flare jeans from J.Crew for this outfit, but they also come in two other washes that would look great as well. I find the jeans to be true to size in Petite 24, but like every pair of flare jeans I’ve come across – they need a pair of heels (unless you want to hem them). The top is a lightweight sweater that I’m wearing in XS.
