No matter how many things I have in my closet, I am the most likely to grab a pair of jeans and a cute top (let’s also not forget leggings and a sweatshirt). Although my boys aren’t at the age of needing to be chased down anymore, the comfort I appreciated so much when they were little has stuck with me and I almost always choose a comfortable outfit. Today I’m sharing four different options for spring that fully represent my go-to casual kind of outfit.

Casual Spring Outfits
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
Lilac Button Down
I’m an outfit repeater with this combination season after season. I love a white top under an open button-down combination with jeans or with denim shorts. This lilac top in particular is from J.Crew and it’s actually chambray (a little on the thick side). It fits me well in 00. I also love this less expensive option from Old Navy that comes in bright colors. The jeans are a great option from J.Crew Factory, they hold you in but still have a nice amount of comfortable stretch. I’m wearing them in my true size Petite 24.

Printed Top
As much as the clean girl aesthetic is trending – you’ll never rip me away from prints. J.Crew Factory put out this pretty block print and I love it! I bought this top and also this dress in the same print. The top is a little bit oversized on me, even in Petite. I’m wearing it in Petite XXS and I love the fit, but if you would like a less roomy fit you may want to size down.

I also love this green block print top from J.Crew Factory. It doesn’t come in petite, but it actually seems to fit me a little bit better than the blue one. I’m wearing it in XXS here. The jeans are true to size, but I need a heel with these.

Short Sleeve Sweater
I love wearing short sleeve sweaters in the spring. They’re great with casual outfits, but they also look geat with workwear. This one in particular comes in several colors and fits me well in XXS.
