Neutral outfits for work have been very popular on my blog lately. So, I’m back with a few more outfit ideas – with the upcoming fall transition in mind. I went for soft neutrals, some in fall-ready tones, and mixed in a few budget-friendly options as well.

Neutral Outfits for Work: Fall Transition
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
Sweater Dress
I can’t rave about this sweater dress from Target enough! The quality is great, the fit is great and I love the soft neutral color. I added a belt to define my waist. This one will also look great with a blazer, a sweater layered on top, or even dressed down with a denim jacket. You can also layer it over a button-down shirt – this dress may just need its own separate post. I’m wearing it in XS and find it to be true to size overall (with generous stretch).

Sweater Vest
Another Target find I’m so impressed with is this mock neck sweater vest. The knit is thick and feels so well made. Plus, it has added panels at the arms so it doesn’t drop down and show your bra. You can wear it as it is or layer it with a top underneath or a blazer on top as well.

Cashmere Tee
This cashmere tee from Quince is gold! I want several colors. It layers well, it’s well made (and not a crazy price point that you normally see with cashmere). I love burgundy for fall and the stark contrast with cream pants is great for the late summer/fall transition. Both the top and pants are true to size, I’m wearing the top in XS and the pants in Petite 00. This outfit would also look great with flats, like my favorite ballet flats, and even a simple sneaker.

Olive Trousers
I picked up a pair of one of my favorite wide-leg pants for Petites from Abercrombie in soft olive. They work well with a cream satin top. As far as sizing, I recommend a size up in the pants. In short, they work well with low heels on me.
