After months of hiding under sweaters and jackets, I’m ready to pull out the pretty spring tops. I found a few options with a cropped petite-friendly fit for this post. If you prefer full-length (and a little less expensive), stay tuned for future posts!

Petite-Friendly Spring Tops
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Peplum Top
This first top (like most of the others in the post) is from Anthropologie. It has a high-low peplum hem and a generous fit through the body. I’m wearing it in Petite XS and love its pairing with high-rise jeans.
Notes on the jeans—they’re AYR and a splurge (over $200), but if they’re in your budget, these are hands down the best jeans I have tried, maybe ever – and I’m someone who tries a lot of jeans. I typically don’t go for jeans in this price range, but I saw a rave review for them online and had to try for myself. They’re very comfortable, even with a high rise. They’re made from stretchy denim that holds its shape through multiple wears (I often skip washing my jeans between wears to prolong their life). I’m wearing them in my true size in the 25″ inseam option.

Sleeveless Top
I love the detail and fit on this sleeveless top. It has a roomy fit overall and drapes down in the arms, so you’ll need to wear a camisole under it to prevent your bra from showing. You’ll also need to pull your bra and camisole straps together with a racerback bra or this clip from Amazon to keep your straps from showing.

Cropped Top
This top is very voluminous and open and hits the top of high-rise jeans. I’m wearing a camisole under it; otherwise, you’ll show off your back and midsection with movement. I love the print and love the unique swing style!

Crochet Top
I bought a cropped crochet top from Abercrombie last season that I loved so much (and still do). This season, they came out with another version that is similar, with a couple of differences. If you know the top I’m referring to, this one is softer and slightly longer. Overall, the fit is still true to size. I’m wearing it here with Abercrombie’s Mid-Rise Straight Jeans.
