My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Linen Dress
This classy dress can work for many different graduations (I’m thinking college and high school). The dress is fully lined, with functional buttons all the way down. It even has snaps in between the top buttons to keep any gaps from happening. The attached fabric belt is long, so I recommend securing it in the back with a clear hair tie. I find the dress to be true to size overall, I’m wearing it in Petite XXS/00. Since the dress is linen, it will wrinkle easily.

Navy Shirt Dress
This Tencel dress has an elastic waist and fully functional buttons all the way down. Overall, it fits well in my true size, Petite XXS. I chose it because it’s a neutral option that can work for many occasions. You can dress it up with accessories and shoes and wear it casually with sandals.

Printed Dress
When I think of graduations, I think of an outdoor ceremony on a sunny May/June day. This dress feels perfect for that occasion. It has a wrap top (that you may want to pin shut) and a subtle red, white, and blue print. This dress will also double as a perfect Memorial Day and 4th of July dress. It is fully lined through the skirt and has pockets. If sun is an issue, this dress would also look cute with a straw hat. I’m wearing it in Petite 0, and I find it to be a bit roomy, so you may prefer a size down.

Bonus Dresses
I have two dresses I didn’t include in the Reel. They’re borderline choices that may be a little too casual for some graduations (and let’s be real, I didn’t want to get ripped to shreds for being too casual on IG—social media can be so cutthroat sometimes). However, depending on your event, they may be perfect for you, and they all have a great petite fit!
Denim Dress
This denim dress is an on-trend option and so far, the only denim dress I’ve been able to find a great fit overall. It has pockets and fully functional buttons all the way down. It is true to size; I’m wearing it in Petite 0. It also comes in white, which is easier to dress up for an event. To note, the pockets add volume to the hips, so it may not be the dress for you if that’s something you want to avoid.
Olive Dress
This last dress is casual, but not every graduation is formal, so it may be a comfortable option that will work for you! I’m wearing it in Petite XXS, and it fits true to size. The skirt is unlined but is thick cotton, so it’s not see-through.
