I’m just getting started with adding leopard to my fall wardrobe. Today, I have two dresses and one sweater styled in a few different ways.

Leopard Four Ways
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Chino Leopard Dress
Oh, this dress—she is so darn cute! This dress doesn’t come in petite, but it’s a big win for petites. The reviews mention how short the dress is, so it’s a perfect petite fit in regular sizing. The dress is chino, so thick structured cotton. It has a zipper at the side and functional buttons at the chest. I would say it’s true to size overall, and I’m wearing it in 00. There is no stretch at the chest, and I’m small-chested, so this isn’t an issue for me, but worth mentioning if you’re larger-chested, you may need a size up.

Smocked Leopard Dress
I found another leopard dress at American Eagle that has a perfect petite fit. This dress has long sleeves that are slightly puffed at the shoulder. The body is smocked, and the skirt is lined with a sheer overlay. The dress is cute worn on its own but pairs well with cropped sweaters and jackets. This one will also be cute with knee-high boots.

Leopard Sweater
The next two outfits both pair ideas with a leopard sweater. My sweater has a slim true to size fit. I’ll also link a less expensive option from J.Crew Factory.

I’ve been getting requests to see more jeans from American Eagle, so I’ll be delivering a full post soon. In the meantime, here is a winning petite-friendly pair. These jeans are the High-Waisted Kick Bootcut Crop Jeans in a charcoal wash. These jeans are lightweight and stretchy. I’m wearing them here in 00 short, and they fit true to size, but the denim feels like it will stretch out some with wear, so you may want to size down for the best all-day fit.

Leopard looks great with jeans and a utility jacket. This is an old outfit pairing from 2015/2016 with modern updates! The utility jacket has an oversized fit, and instead of the skinny jeans we used to wear back then, I went for straight jeans. Speaking of the jeans, these are the Super High-Waisted Ankle Straight Jeans from American Eagle. I love the fit overall, but I recommend a size down for the best fit (or your true size if you like them relaxed). For reference, I’m wearing them in 00 Short here, and they have a roomy fit.
