J.Crew Holiday Party Outfits

I’ve been sharing a lot of holiday outfits over the last month, but no one has knocked it out of the park quite like J.Crew. Their holiday collection has been my favorite and a reader favorite as well.

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Sequin Lady Jacket

This jacket is a whole moment. I almost passed on it, since it doesn’t come in petite, I thought it probably wouldn’t be proportioned well for me. But, I was wrong – it’s perfect! With that being said, if you’re not petite, this one may run a little small/short, so you may want to size up. If you compare your sizing to mine, I’m wearing it in XXS and it’s a perfect fit. The jacket is well lined and soft on the inside, so despite the gorgeous sequins, it’s comfortable to wear. It hits me right at the top of my hips and the sleeve length is perfect. I paired it with a pair of cream trousers. The trousers have a generous wide-leg fit, but fit well at the waist. I would say they’re true to size, but keep in mind that these are just a roomy style in general. The pants come with a removable belt and aren’t one bit see through.

Velvet Wide-Leg Pants

In my post from last month with J.Crew holiday outfits, I shared these pants in a beautiful dark red. They were popular and quickly sold out, but you may still be able to snag your size in navy, ivory, and black. The pants run large, in my opinion, so I recommend a size down for the best fit. They have light stretch and loosen with wear. I paired them with the Savoy Topcoat in Berry Sangria. This coat is very similar in style to the red topcoat I’ve been sharing lately (a J.Crew coat from last year) but the red of this coat is a little bit deeper than my coat from last year. The coat has a beautiful petite fit and although I’m wearing it in my true size, it runs slim through the arms and shoulders and a size up would make it easier to layer sweaters under it.

Slim Wide-Leg Jeans

The Slim Wide-Leg jeans from J.Crew have a dark clean wash that is perfect for dressing up. The jeans run large, so I recommend a size down. I paired them with a classic tartan top and velvet black blazer. The top is sheer, with a camisole underneath. The camisole has adjustable straps and can be detached from the top. I’m wearing it in 00 and it fits me well overall, but the sleeves are a little bit long. The blazer is a true-to-size fit and fits me well through the sleeves, shoulders and length. I’m wearing it in Petite 00.
