Buying a pair of 7/8 leggings is often a petite trick we use to get a full-length pair of leggings from a brand that doesn’t carry petites. But, if you’re looking for a pair that will actually be cropped on you, I found a petite pair at Athleta I think you’re going to love.

Petite-Friendly 7/8 Leggings
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Salutation Stash High Rise 7/8 Leggings
The Salutation Leggings at Athleta are buttery soft. They’re made with PowerVita fabric that is breathable, moisture wicking and lightly compressive. They have enough hold to take you through a workout, but they’re still comfortable for casual outfits. I’m wearing a stash style here so they have pockets on both sides of the thighs. The leggings are true to size but I like to go up a size for a comfortable fit.
Seasoft Ribbed Crewneck Sweatshirt
In the first outfit I paired the leggings with the Seasoft Ribbed Crewneck Sweatshirt. This sweatshirt has a silky interior that’s cool to the touch and a cropped dolman fit. I love in this soft pink (shell) but it also comes in four other soft colors.

Easy Fleece Dolman Crop Sweatshirt
In this outfit I chose Shadow Blue for my leggings and paired it with an Easy Fleece Dolman Cropped Sweatshirt. This sweatshirt is fleecy and warm. I love the cropped dolman fit. This one is cute with leggings but I also love wearing it with jeans. It’s true to size, I’m wearing it in XXS.
