I have my tried-and-true brands that I shop from (LOFT, Ann Taylor, J.Crew) and I’m glad y’all love them as much as I do. But lately I’ve been trying to branch out and find more and more options for my petite friends. There have been plenty of fails in this search, but that’s all part of the process. However, there have been plenty of wins and several of them came in a recent order I placed with Abercrombie. The fit is so spot on with what I found and I can’t wait to share it with you.
Petite Friendly Abercrombie Try-On
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” around 105lbs. My bust, waist and hip measurements are: 32″, 24″, and 36″.
Ankle Jeans
Abercrombie’s extra short jeans are such a perfect length for me, right from the store. However, it’s not often they come in this length. I was really excited to see that this pair did and was quick to add them to my cart. They’re a straight-leg style and are very high-rise. On-trend and rigid, they’re also really flattering and hug every curve. What I appreciate the most about this pair is the placement of the knee holes which actually hits my knees! Their jeans and shorts tend to run small so I sized up to a 25.

Cropped Tank Top
I’m totally uncomfortable in a crop top, but this one is just cropped enough that it tucks perfectly into a pair of high-rise bottoms. I’m wearing it in XS and it’s a close fit that works with a regular bra.

Linen Shorts
These linen shorts come in several prints and colors. There are matching tops, but they’re a little too cropped for me. The shorts, however, are perfect. They’re lined which I really like. They’re light and comfortable but not too thin.

Activewear Romper
I bought this romper in petite XS and it fits really well. With that said, if you’re any taller than me (I’m 4’10”) It will probably be too short, and regular is a better option. It would also be a little snug if you have a longer torso. The fabric is moisture-wicking and swishy. Perfect for a hot summer day on the go. I kept my sandals on just because I was trying on multiple things, but you can also wear this with a sports bra and sneakers.

T-Shirt Dress
I love this throw on and go t-shirt dress. I bought it in regular sizing in XXS and the fit is perfect. The length would also be great to wear with sneakers and it comes in other colors.

Peplum Top
This peplum top comes in other colors and prints and fits well in regular XS. The back has a tie detail at the top, but it’s not so open that you can’t wear a regular bra with it. The arm openings are also a great length. It is also fully lined and well made.
