Grab a pair of bootcut trousers and a walkable pair of boots and you have a perfect winter work outfit combination. Today I’m sharing four different outfit ideas with the same pants and boots. All four are warm and comfortable.

Black Bootcut Pants Four Ways for Work
Sizing Reference: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. All of the outfits are unaltered and I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare and shop online.
Fit notes on the pants – I find them to be true to size (Petite 00). They have a slight stretch to them with a detachable belt. I fold the excess fabric from the belt under the first belt loop (you can also swap for another belt). The boots are warm and comfortable. I can walk in this pair all day and they look great with pants, leggings, and skirts/dresses.
With a Blazer
I love the print on this top. It has gray, black, and camel in it – so it will go with a lot of different color combinations. Although the print comes in different styles, I chose this sleeveless option with a tie-neck. I find it to be true to size for me in Petite XXS. The blazer is also true to size, I’m wearing it in Petite 00. It’s lightweight and although I have the sleeves pushed back, the sleeve length is great as is.

With a Sweater Blazer
I bought this color of one of my favorite J.Crew sweater blazers during their recent Black Friday sale. Apparently so did a lot of other people because it’s now mostly sold out. However, since it’s one of their classic styles – I have a feeling it will restock soon. (Side note – holiday sales are hitting the inventory of a lot of the things I had lined up to share so bare with me!) Back to the sweater, as far as the fit goes – it does run large. There isn’t a petite option, unfortunately, so I wear it in XXS. I personally roll the sleeves on both of mine.

With a Poncho
I love wearing a poncho to work. This one is warm but still moveable and lightweight. It looks like a lot of fabric in a photo, but in person, it moves with you and the lightweight fabric keeps it from being too overwhelming for someone who is petite.

With a Cardigan
I shop a lot (obviously) and never buy things at full price. I’m always hunting sales, which are really quite often. So, if you ever come across something that seems a little pricey on my blog, I can almost promise you it will go on sale sometime soon. This cardigan is one of those things. At its full price I would pass – but on a holiday sale (like the one I bought it from) it’s a yes! This cardigan is true to size (petite XXS for me), thick, and warm. I also love it with jeans and leggings.
