Let’s talk about jeans – a hot topic these days. There are numerous styles that a popular right now and despite what anyone on TikTok tells you, you can wear more than just low-rise overly baggy jeans. You can and should wear whatever you feel good in and if that’s the skinny jeans you’ve had in your closet for the last ten years, that’s awesome. For me, my current favorite styles are still high-rise or mid-rise. I prefer straight or cropped flare, but will also wear some wide-leg and flare styles and when it comes to certain outfits, skinny jeans still reign supreme (you can’t beat the ability to tuck them into warm boots). In today’s post, I’m styling my favorite styles of jeans in comfortable and casual outfits.

Cozy Series: Casual Outfits with Jeans

With Birkenstock Boston Clogs
When it comes to Birkenstock Clogs, I prefer to wear them with socks. You can wear them with a pair of full-length jeans or with a pair that shows a little ankle. The jeans in this outfit are Abercrombie’s High Rise 90s’ Straight Jeans. They’re rigid, true to size, and stretch out some with wear. They also come in a mid-rise option.

Sweatshirt and Jeans
This is a classic sweatshirt and jeans outfit I paired with two different shoe options. The jeans are from Aritzia and have a great full-length petite length. I sized up in the jeans, but they do stretch out some with wear so you may prefer your true size.

UGG Boots
I also like UGG boots with jeans that show a little bit of ankle (and socks). It’s cozy and warm! The jeans in this outfit are Abercrombie’s High Rise Ankle Straight Jeans. I’m wearing them in short here for more length (vs. extra short which is more cropped in this style).

Cropped Flare Jeans
These cropped flare jeans are my favorite to wear with boots. The boots in both outfits are comfortable and walkable but the first pair has a lower heel that is more comfortable for a lot of walking or standing. The jeans have a comfortable low/mid-rise and are very stretchy, I find them to be true to size.
