The color me rad race is Saturday and I’m super excited to run and get messy with a few of my favorite ladies!
Of course when you run as a team, you have to have fun crafty shirts! So I pulled out my glue gun and got to work.
I originally wanted to copy a cutie pie Pinterest find, bow backed racer back tanks. As cute as they would have been, thinking of the probably 50 degree weather I opted for long sleeves.
Here’s what I used:
Long sleeve plain white tee
Pink polka dot ribbon
Black iron on lettering
White glitter puffy paint
Hot glue gun
Pink chevron cut your own pattern iron on
I started by tracing out the ‘pumps’ into the patterned, iron on paper with the black iron on letters.
I cut super careful around the letters for what felt like ever and then laid out all of my lettering in a block style.
I pressed the letters with an iron on the highest setting for about 15 seconds on each part. Keep ironing over until it is firmly pressed down.
I happened to have an ‘&’ sticker on hand so threw that on there.
I outlined the ‘team’ and ‘pumps’ in puffy paint and hot glued a little pink bow on top of team.
And done!
Looks super cute!!! Ya’ll are going to have a blast!
