I can’t tell you if we’ll still be social distancing come summer, but I can tell you whether we are or not, I’ll be wearing dresses.
Last year I introduced eShakti on the blog – a company that makes affordable custom dresses. I created an adorable gingham dress last year with an absolute perfect fit. That’s something a petite gal like me, doesn’t get to experience often.
eShakti Custom Dresses
When you hop on eShakti’s website you have to keep your creative eyes open. There is a massive catalog of available styles, and I’ll admit – some of them are not my style. If you only check out the first few pages, you might miss a really great dress.
Custom Options
Every style comes with the ability to customize the sleeves, neckline and length. The lilac dress I’m wearing (which is sadly, no longer available online) was shown with a longer length and long sleeves.
As you make changes online, there is a preview to give you an idea of what the dress will look like, so, you can play around with different lengths, sleeves and necklines. I did the very same thing with my gingham dress, shortened it and removed the sleeves.
Every eShakti dress comes with pockets, but you can opt to have the pockets removed if you wish.
Custom Sizing
After you’ve customized the style of your dress, you enter your measurements. There is a guide to show you exactly how and where to measure to get the perfect fit.
Quality and Shipping
All of my eShakti dresses are top quality. They’re fully lined, and come with extra details like straps to hold your bra straps in place. I would compare their quality to my J.Crew dresses.

Even with customizations made, the shipping takes around two weeks. If for some reason you don’t love your dress, even a custom one, you may return it with a prepaid shipping label.
More Than Dresses
I’ve personally only tried the dresses, but they also offer styles like skirts and jumpsuits!
If you’re looking for a great summer dress or maybe you have a particular event in mind, I highly recommend trying eShakti. You can’t beat the fit!
Here are a few styles I love with customizations:
I would make this one sleeveless only because I don’t like heavy sleeves on a dress, but I love the cute trim detail!
A sweet white summer dress! I’ve seen dresses like this one all over, but this one would have a tailored, flattering fit.
I think this skirt would be really cute in a midi length, paired with the same shoes I’m wearing in this post and a cute white top and denim jacket.
This one, I would love it with different sleeves and a shorter length.
Have you tried eShakti?
