Dresses, dresses, and more dresses—that seems to be what is filling my inbox and shopping carts lately. I’ve been doing my best to round up options for all of your occasions, from vacation to graduation to Mother’s Day, keeping in mind some special requests such as sleeves, natural fibers, and above-the-knee options.

Petite-Friendly Dress & Skirt Mix
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Beach Vacation Outfit
This skirt makes me think of vacation – at the beach specifically. The wrap style is flattering and adjustable, but it’s not a true wrap that could pop open and expose you. This skirt is a good length, short, but not too short. It’s true to size and well-lined. I paired it with a crochet top that is see-through. You can wear it as is or add a camisole underneath. In my true size, the skirt accommodates the tucking in of both layers.

Memorial Day Weekend
I think this dress would make a nice, subtly festive option for Memorial Day Weekend. It’s not petite sizing, so it’s a little bit long on me, but it works thanks to the adjustable straps and a pair of heels. I’ve mentioned in a previous post to pay attention to proportions. We can be the same height, but different proportions and that will effect the fit of the clothing. I’m relatively short from my shoulder to chest and can shorter the straps on this dress quite a bit. If you’re longer there, this dress may be too long for you. The dress is fully lined and has a zipper in the back.

Everyday Dress
This dress could serve many purposes. It’s a great everyday dress, but you could also wear it for something like Mother’s Day. It has puff sleeves and elastic at the chest and back that adjusts to your size. The waist is elastic and stretchy, and the dress is fully lined. I’m wearing it in XS.

Summer Celebrations
This citrus and floral dress is perfect for a backyard BBQ or maybe your child’s end-of-the-year awards ceremony on a sunny afternoon. The dress has adjustable straps, a smocked stretch top, and pockets! I love the bright summer print.
My photo is not doing this dress justice – I like to film videos in this spot but my photos often are a blueish color here, so I don’t love that.
