Easter is one of my favorite holidays. I personally celebrate “Resurrection Day” with Church on Sunday morning followed by lunch with my family. We also often put on fun backyard activities for the kids like egg hunts, games, and bubbles. I’ve talked with some of you about your Easter celebrations and they range from Passover Seder to hunting for Easter Eggs. However you celebrate, here are a few petite-friendly dress ideas for hopefully, a warm sunny day with your family and friends!
Petite-Friendly Easter Dresses
Abercrombie Maxi Dress
First, the dress I plan to wear on Easter Sunday – this maxi dress from Abercrombie. I love this dress so much, I’ve talked myself out of buying multiple colors in it a few times. It’s comfortable, but elegant and beautiful all in one. The straps are wide enough to wear a regular bra with it and the top is stretchy. The skirt is full and comes down to my feet – but I can wear it with heels or with flats. The skirt isn’t lined, but it’s a cotton poplin so it’s not see-through (in the print I’m wearing). I will probably add a denim jacket if it’s a little bit cool on Easter.

Floral Maxi
Nothing says Easter Sunday like a pretty floral dress. I was hesitant to include this dress in the lineup because it keeps going in and out of stock, but if you can snag your size in it – it’s a great option! The skirt is lined and not see-through. The sleeves are light and there is a tie in the back.

Amazon Midi Dress
If you like to coordinate with your family, this white dress from Amazon may be a great neutral to coordinate with. I first shared this dress in my Resort Wear post and the white option sold out in small (the size I’m wearing). It has since been restocked and also comes in other colors! The skirt is lined and not see-through. I always note that because it’s the top question I get when sharing a dress. It fits me well in a size small, so I would say it runs a little small, but the top is stretchy.

J.Crew Midi Dress
What I love most about this dress is that it’s a true midi-length on me in petite. It’s a soft linen dress and the skirt is fully lined. The sleeves are pretty voluminous so I prefer the way it looks off the shoulder, but it can also be worn on the shoulder. It comes in a few other solid colors as well. I’m wearing it in Petite XS.

Pink Lily Mini Dress
If you want a dress that’s above the knee, you may like this blue floral one from Pink Lily. It’s voluminous in the skirt, but the top does run a little small. If you’re larger up top than I am, you may want to size up (I’m wearing XS). The top is smocked so there is some stretch. You can take 20% off of this dress with my code PUMPS20.
