Every now and then, I get a little crafty. But, I need my crafts to be easy. In comes the easiest DIY wreath around.
All you will need is a couple bunches of cotton blossoms, one garland of fall leaves of your choice and a little floral wire and boom, wreath. I gathered all of my supplies at Hobby Lobby and used their Orange Aspen Garland.
Once I was ready to get started, I wrapped the garland around the wire form just to make sure it was a good fit. The 5′ garland was a perfect fit on the 20″ frame, no trimming required. Than I flipped the wreath over and started securing it to the wire frame with floral wire. I tied wire roughly every 3 inches around the frame.
Than I placed all of the cotton on the wreath to make sure I liked how it looked. Once I had all of the cotton where I wanted it, I secured each piece with more floral wire.
Now, I am no bow expert, so don’t judge me. I simply folded my ribbon over on itself about six times, twisted a piece of floral wire around the middle and fanned out the bow. Then I attached it to my wreath.
The final step, is the burlap! I took a piece of burlap, roughly 2′ long. I looped it over the top of my orange bow and tied it in a bow at the bottom. Then I pulled the burlap bow up to the orange bow and hung my wreath by the other end of the burlap.
Easy peesy! I even made it Pinnable for you!
If I can do it, I know you can. Now go get your fall crafting on!
