Five Neutral Outfits for Summer
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
Midi Dress
This dress looks like an Aritzia dress for less. I’ve really been into Quince lately and have found they offer a lot of options that give the look for less, but still really nice quality, fabrics and sometimes, sustainability. I’m wearing this dress in XS and it fits me well overall. It’s silky and stretchy and you can wear a regular bra with it.

Linen Shorts
I first shared these linen shorts in this Madewell post. They’re a little bit roomy on me so I would suggest going down a size for the best fit. The top is from Abercrombie and has already sold out once and restocked. It’s a cute cropped fit that hits the top of high waisted bottoms just right. I personally like to wear a camisole under it since it’s see through.

Wide Leg Jeans
If you want to try the wide-leg jeans trend, the 90’s relaxed jeans from Abercrombie have a great petite fit. Last I checked they were low in stock in white, but there are several washes available. I went with extra short to wear them with flats, if you want to wear them with heels I would go with short.

Activewear
The last two outfits are similar activewear options from Lululemon. I went with one of their cropped cotton tank tops for both (they fit me well in a size 4). The white set is “bone” which is a nice off-white. The shorts are soft and stretchy, I’m wearing them in a size 4. The purple set is “twilight rose” and the shorts in this set are lightweight and quick drying. I went with XS in these shorts, but I could have gone down a size for a better fit.
