Thank you to Dryel for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
In case you’re not already familiar with Dryel, I’ll introduce you right out of the gate. Dryel is an at-home dry cleaning system that works with your dryer. To me, it’s the go-to for taking care of not only my dry clean only clothes, but anything I don’t want to put a lot of extra wear and tear on.

How To Use Dryel
I’m inviting you into my laundry room today to show you just how to use Dryel. Then I’ll tell you all of the ways I use it on my own clothes.

In the kit is a bag, stain pen, wrinkle releaser and freshener spray, and cleaning cloths. You start by removing any stains with the stain pen (which is also great for taking on-the-go), using the odor spray on any high odor areas, then simply add 1-5 garments to the bag.
Then you toss in one cleaning cloth, zip up the bag and tumble on medium heat in your dryer for 15-20 minutes. The cleaning cloth works with the heat of your dryer to steam clean your clothes. After the bag is done tumbling, take everything out and hang it up promptly to avoid wrinkles.

It’s so incredibly easy, and after years of doing my dry cleaning at home, I’ve never had a bad experience using it. So, what exactly do you I use Dryel on?
Five Ways I Use Dryel

Delicate Tops
I have tons of ruffled, pleated, and light fabric tops that even though they’re machine washable, they don’t always come out pretty. So, I alternate machine washing, or hand washing, with a run through the dryer with Dryel every few wears to keep them looking fresh. My tops wrinkle less, and I don’t spend 30 minutes getting the ruffles to lay just right.
Dark Denim and Pants
I’ve mentioned before on the blog that I don’t wash my jeans after every wear. Instead, I give them a tumble in the dryer with Dryel to refresh, and shape back up. I still wash them every few wears, but by skipping a few washes and using Dryel instead I can keep them from fading, longer.

Pretty Little Dresses
I use Dryel on my dresses for the same reason I use them on my tops, it’s a pain to iron out all of the details after they take a run through the washing machine. Plus, they hold their color and their shape better when I use Dryel instead of the washing machine.

Blazers and Jackets
Most of my blazers and jackets are dry clean only, so it makes sense I use Dryel on them. I love that I can clean them without having to go to the dry cleaners.

Sweaters
Some of my sweaters are dry clean only, and some aren’t, but for the most part I use Dryel on all of them. You may remember that from my post about sweaters last month. Sweaters tend to shrink and pill pretty bad after being washed, and I feel like I get more wear out of them when I use Dryel instead.

Dryel is definitely one product I think every girl needs in her laundry room. I spend a lot of time shopping and investing in my wardrobe, and I want to get the most out of everything I buy. If you haven’t tried Dryel yet, I’m hosting a giveaway on Instagram for not only a few Dryel goodies for you to try, but also a $50 giftcard to Nordstrom. Hop on over there to enter and see my takeover of the Dryel Instagram account all this week!
