Some of my favorite memories are from weekend trips with my best friends. I’ve been lucky enough to have a close-knit group of friends since our early 20s (some of us since high school) and we’ve been on multiple trips together. Those trips are always full of laughs, shenanigans, and memories I’ll cherish forever.
We lost one of our sweet friends earlier this year and it makes those memories even more special to me. I’ve had lots of requests for this post, and putting it together just made me think so much of my friends and all our fun times together. You can definitely bet there’s a girl’s weekend in our near future!
Girl’s Weekend Outfits by Destination
Although I’ve had requests for outfits for trips all over the US, I focused on the top four destinations, Napa, Charleston, Nashville, and the beach.
Napa
Napa is by far the most requested destination – and it’s one I’ve never been to! Granted a quick Google search can land you with some pretty great ideas, and I just found a petite-friendly option that I would pick if I was headed that way. I opted for a pretty floral maxi dress and comfortable flat sandals in case you’re taking any tours. You could also add a hat. The dress goes down to Petite XXS, but I sized up as I often do at Abercrombie.

Charleston
Next on the list is beautiful Charleston. We visited Folly Beach and Charleston for one of my friend’s Bachelorette weekends and had the best time! Charleston is preppy and a great place to play with color and prints. This maxi dress is full-length on me but works with flats making it great to wear if you’re going to be doing a lot of walking.

Nashville
When in Nashville, break out the cowboy boots. I don’t wear cowboy boots all that often, but wanted to try the white boot trend, so I snagged this pair on Amazon. They run true to size. They would work with a summer dress or denim shorts as well. The skort I’m wearing is comfortable, but I would recommend going up a size.

Beach
My friends and I have been on multiple beach trips together. We’re happy staying in and wearing comfy clothes, but it’s also fun to get dressed up. We’re all a little past the age of nightlife at this point, so I opted for a dress that would look great at dinner.
