My life is typically narrated in my head with the lyrics of rap songs. When I think about wearing a romper, I’m all “lean with it, romp with it.” Of course, I only narrate my life with older rap songs, because with two small children, the rap jam sessions are few and far between.
When I sweep the floor, it’s, “ladies is pimps too, go and brush your shoulders off” and the ride to work is typically pumped up with “everyday I’m hustlin.” I only ride to work one day a week, in true hustler form of course.
I know, you don’t have to tell me, I’m totally hardcore. (insert sarcasm) But, as hardcore as I may be, I’m not one to branch out of my comfort zone all too often. In this case my comfort zone has been broken with rompers. Up until I tried this cutie on, I had never worn a romper. They were new to me, you had to take the entire piece down to use the bathroom and most of the ones I encountered were way too short for my taste. When you’re running a boutique, you can’t avoid pieces just because they make you uncomfortable, so we put in an order for these hot pink beauties. When they arrived, I had to try one on and was pleasantly surprised. The romper was comfortable, cute and not a pain at all to take off to visit the little ladies room.
Since giving this romper a try, I’ve been eyeing a few others to add to my closet. This girl has stepped out of her comfort zone and is totally “getting her romp on” from here on out.
