For my fans of classic style, I have another J.Crew Factory Try-On for you! I found a couple of great fall dresses, a wardrobe staple corduroy skirt, and a few sweaters and sweatshirts I’m loving. Read on for more details about the fit of each one.
J.Crew Factory Try-On
Black Midi Dress
First up, a midi dress with a spotted print. I love the overall fit of this dress. The length is perfect and it is fully lined. For those of you who prefer clothes that don’t need to be ironed, this dress is something that came out of the package unwrinkled. My only complaint about this dress is the v-neck, which is a little low for my comfort level. I will personally add a cami underneath. It fits true to size, I’m wearing it in Petite 00.

Corduroy Skirt and Teddie Sweater
I have a couple of corduroy skirts from J.Crew Factory from past years and they have held up so well. The ones I have are olive and mustard, so when I saw this white one I knew it would fill an open spot in my wardrobe. Because the skirt is corduroy, and a little bit more cream than white, it is going to be beautiful for fall. I plan to style it multiple ways in an upcoming post. The skirt is fully lined and not see-through. It does run small, I ordered it in my typical size at J.Crew Factory 00, and it’s a little snug in my hips. If you’re wider in that area like me, I would recommend sizing up.
The sweater is another great classic piece to have in your wardrobe. You can get this style of the sweater from J.Crew also, which is a little bit softer than the Factory version. To note, the Factory sweater is a little bit itchy. I like to size up in this sweater for a little more room. I wear it in XS.

Corduroy Dress
This dress looks a little frumpy and schoolgirl online, so much so that I almost passed on it. I last minute decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. It’s a beautiful rich orange and the fabric is heavy and well made. It does run a little small, I ordered it in Petite 00, but it’s tight in the arms and waist, so I really need to size up. I could see this one being pretty in fall family pictures!

Tunic Sweatshirt
Next, a tunic sweatshirt that’s the perfect blend of comfortable and cute. It’s longer, so if you wanted to, you could wear leggings with it. The buttons on the collar are functional if you wanted to add a layer and let it peek out underneath. I’m wearing it in XXS and it fits true to size.

Fleece Pullover
This is another comfortable sweatshirt top that is just a little dressed up. It’s not as long as the cream one and the fit is a little closer. The inside is soft and fleecy. I’m wearing it in XXS, but if you want a roomier fit, I would size up.

I loved everything that came in this J.Crew Factory order! I appreciate that their clothes are classic. I try to go with trends to a point, but I’m really the most comfortable in classic pieces that will last in my closet for years.
