Leather leggings have been trending for many seasons now and they’re just as big this year. I love leggings in general, but I especially love to wear them on Thanksgiving – for obvious reasons. My family is very casual so comfort is always key. Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I thought it was a great time to put together some outfits with a pair of leather leggings, they’re comfortable but a little bit elevated so you get the best of both worlds.

Leather Leggings Four Ways
Sizing reference: I’m 4’10 and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″.
First, my leather leggings are from Spanx. I’m wearing them in Petite XS and they have a comfortable but compression fit. In petite, they’re a good 2-3″ too long for me, but I wear them cuffed under (or just tucked into boots). There are lots of different leather leggings on the market now, but I really just haven’t tried any other pairs. With an Oversized Sweater
At my core, I’m someone who wants to have multiple colors if I find something I love, but the practical side of me tries to keep that to a minimum. This Amazon sweater is one of those things I want in every color. I really didn’t expect much from this sweater but I’ve been getting a lot of requests lately to show more budget-friendly options. So I took to Amazon to see what I could find. This sweater was one of the winners, it is so soft, and thick and has a perfectly oversized fit. I’m wearing it in a size small and I have the sleeves cuffed.

With a Long Cardigan
This cardigan from LOFT is so soft! I was first drawn to the print online but when I took it out of the packaging the softness got me. I’m wearing the turtleneck tucked into my leggings, but you can wear it untucked as well.

With a Shacket or Oversized Button Down
My casual fall and winter uniform is this outfit right here – leggings, flat boots, and an oversized top with layers. I also commonly add a long coat on top. My coat is from last year, but J. Crew did release a new option this year. It’s slightly different but their petite fit tends to be great overall, so I think the new version is a safe bet. In the coat I’m wearing I went with my true size (petite 00/xxs) instead of sizing up like I often do in J.Crew coats.

With a Blazer
Last, an oversized blazer looks great with leather leggings. I went with an oversized/tunic length button down as well.
