Leather is trending in a big way this season, in lots of different styles. One popular style is a pair of leather pants. Today I have four ways you can wear this trend.

Leather Pants Four Ways

Leather Pants
First, let’s talk about the pants. I picked an option from Abercrombie in one of my favorite styles of jeans, the ankle straight. They’re true to size overall. I ordered a size up in short and love the length. To note, they do come in extra short if you would like to show more ankle. They fit me well throughout the hips, but they are a little bit too big on me at the waist. In hindsight, I really should have ordered my true size in the curve love fit instead of sizing up. The pants have a soft lining and are comfortable to wear and quite warm.
Date Night
I think a pair of leather pants make for a great date night outfit. I kept it simple with a bodysuit from Old Navy and a pair of strappy heels. I would also add a black coat on top for warmth this time of year.

Casual
I really like the mix of leather pants and sneakers. I balanced it out with a coat that is also a little elevated and a chunky white sweater.

To Work
If leather pants are appropriate for your office, I think adding a tweed jacket or blazer helps add polish to the outfit. I went with a low heel, but a flat shoe would also be great for leaning more toward professional with leather pants.

Holiday Party
The holidays are just around the corner. If you have a party to go to, leather pants may be a great outfit option! My sequin top is old, I’ve been holding onto it for years just for the holiday seasons, but I will link a similar option for you. The platform heels add a fun edge to the outfit, and also a lot of height! Wearing these I can feel remotely close in height to my six-foot-tall husband. The blazer is stretchy and comfortable, the sleeves hold in place if you want to wear them pushed back as I have them here.
