Madewell Loyalty Event Picks
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 24-25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
Denim
My absolute favorite thing at Madewell is the jeans and the sale is a great time to grab a pair. They’re the kind of jeans that will last in your wardrobe for years to come and they have a great fit! I’ve tried and reviewed several styles on my blog (more styles here) but today I’m going to talk about the 90s Straight jeans and Mid-Risk Kick Out Jeans.
’90s Straight Jeans
We’re used to seeing cropped straight jeans (and those are still great) but this season we’re going to be seeing more and more full-length styles of jeans. I think these ’90s Straight Jeans have the best fit overall with a leg that’s not too wide or too slim and a length that I think is perfect with flats and heels (boots). I have a post coming up where I share these jeans with different shoe styles as well so stay tuned for that. It was recommended to go up a size, but in the wash I chose “enmore” I went with my true size and they fit well. They have a high 10″ rise and are made from classic cotton denim. They are a cheeky style which is different than any other pair of Madewell jeans I’ve tried (meaning they ride up a little bit in the back). There are multiple washes available in this style as well.

Mid-Rise Kick-Out Jeans
Mid-rise and low-rise jeans are starting to outshine high-rise jeans this season (which I know will make some of you very happy). This pair has a comfortable mid-rise and light stretch. They’re really comfortable and true to size. When it comes to what tops I’ll be wearing with mid-rise jeans this season, I’m going to go with cropped tops that hit the top of the jeans and relaxed tops worn untucked (different from the tucking in of everything we’ve done over the last few years). Don’t worry I’ll still be wearing some high-rise bottoms as well.

Conway Sweater
I bought the Conway Sweater in navy and white stripe last year and it has remained one of my most worn sweaters. It washes well, doesn’t pill, and is comfortable to wear. It has an oversized fit and I’m wearing it in XXS (pictured in the first outfit photo). I love the new colorways they put out this season.
Cashmere Sweater
This camel-striped cashmere sweater is a great layering piece. I love it worn over the shoulder, but also worn on its own and layered under a jacket. It has a great fit in XXS.

Crochet Sweater
I have been loving crochet sweaters and cropped sweaters as well. Not the kind of cropped tops that show your mid-section, but the kind that just meet the top of your jeans. They make for a great layering piece over dresses and skirts as well! This crochet sweater fits well in XXS and although it’s open it’s still made from a warm and thick material. (pictured above)
Leather Jacket
I share this leather jacket whenever Madewell runs their loyalty event because it’s one of the only times this investment jacket goes on sale. I bought mine a few years ago and it’s just something that gets better with age. The leather softens with wear and the sleeves loosen a bit too. I’m wearing it in regular sizing in the color “dried cedar” in xxs and it fits me well overall (except for slightly long sleeves).
