I recently tried the new Versa collection at LOFT and was pleasantly surprised. Although my millennial heart will always love the classic LOFT look, I was excited to see the introduction of this elevated and modern line. The pieces looked oversized online, so I wasn’t sure how they would fit, but overall, I found a great fit with the few pieces I tried.

Mix-and-Match Workwear
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Versa Palazzo Pants
The Versa Palazzo pants look extra wide on the model, but on me, I felt they were wide, but not too wide. The width is well-balanced, and the beautiful drape of the crepe fabric makes them swish and float as you walk. The crepe fabric also means fewer wrinkles; both colors hardly needed to be steamed, right out of the package. I find them to be true to size overall, and lengthwise, these wide-leg pants have the best petite length I’ve seen so far. I can wear them with flats and a pair of low heels. In petite, they are well-proportioned through the rise, so they’re not overall puffy at the zipper, and the elastic at the back makes these pants comfortable. In “white clay”, they aren’t sheer or see-through. The other color shown in this post is “Brown Malt,” but they also come in black. You can find a video review of these pants here.

Versa Ribbed Wrap Sweater
The sweater I’m wearing in most of the outfits here is beautiful—with one caveat: you must pin the top to wear it. It’s missing a needed clasp at the chest; otherwise, the sweater is entirely open. Otherwise, the sweater is true to size — I’m wearing it here in Petite XXS.
I’m wearing this denim jacket in regular sizing for a little bit of an oversized fit.

Versa Knit Square Neck Tee
This top is on par with tops I have from Artizia (the pants are very similar as well, but not the same level of quality). The top is double layered, slim fitting with light compression. It is true to size overall, but if you want more room, you may want a size up.

Versa Crepe Drape Oversized Blazer
I love the fabric on this blazer, but it’s very oversized. You have to love that oversized, trendy look to love this one. The shoulders have padding and are wide. I’m wearing it in Petite XXS here for reference.

My first try of the Versa collection was a positive one. I also tried this skirt, and it was a pass for me—it ran too short for my tastes and was too tight across my hips.
