I came across a pair of pants recently at Ann Taylor that are the absolute best light pair I’ve ever come across. They aren’t quite white, more of a stone/cream color, perfect for spring and summer. What makes them so amazing, is they are lined with a comfortable silky lining that keeps them from being see-through, and helps to smooth things out – rather than catch on every crease and line like light-colored pants often do. In terms of sizing, I went with a regular fit in my true size (petite 00) and they fit me well.

Neutral Outfits for Work

With a Button-Down Top
I love the soft coral color of this button-down top. It’s a nice medium-weight for spring and has a slightly oversized fit. It’s great for wearing to work, but you can also wear this one casually. I’m wearing it in Petite XXS.

With a Cardigan
Two things I get a ton of wear out of in my closet – a short sleeve sweater and a long cardigan/coatigan. My exact sweater is from J.Crew Factory but it’s sold out in white, so I’m linking a similar option from Ann Taylor. The cardigan is from J.Crew and has a slightly oversized fit on me in XXS.

With a Blazer
I love this white linen blazer from J.Crew Factory. It has a great fit and is a great weight for warmer weather. I’m wearing it in my true size Petite 00. I went with a casual pair of wedges for this outfit for a more comfortable option.

With Camel
This classic outfit goes from season to season. The sweater I’m wearing underneath has short sleeves so it’s still spring and summer appropriate. The blazer I’m wearing is the Willa Blazer from J.Crew. I love the fit, but I also appreciate that it’s lightweight and comfortable to wear. It is a splurge, but you can snag it on sale from time to time. I wear it in my true size, Petite 00.
