Neutral Outfits for Work
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Wide-Leg Trousers
These cuffed trousers have a clean front which I love. Don’t get me wrong, pleats are ok, but I prefer a clean front instead. The pants fit true to size and can be worn without hemming (if you’re willing to wear a low heel). Some Petites will definitely be able to pull these off with flats, but I need a 1-2″ heel. The top has a compressive, close fit. I’m wearing it in XXS, but could have easily gone up a size for a little more room.

I paired a cropped sweater with the pants in this outfit. The sweater has a great fit through the arm holes and I love the cropped fit that doesn’t need to be tucked in. I’m wearing it XXS here for reference.

Vest
I’ve been into the vest trend, but the v-neck styles have been too low-cut for my tastes. I love the neckline on this vest! It has an all-around great fit, with no gaping at the arms.

Pleated Skirt
The pleated skirt makes another appearance. I think this skirt is a great staple item to have and looks great with flats and heels. You can wear the sleeveless sweater untucked with it or tucked in like I did here.

Silk Skirt
The washable silk skirt from Quince is an elegant option that has a great petite fit. I’m wearing it in XS and find it be true to size overall. I often wear this skirt with shapewear shorts and tuck my top into the shorts for a smooth look.
