I value your input on my posts so much! After posting my recent no-hem pants post, I was asked to create more posts like it with different types of bottoms. I’m also often asked to find budget-friendly options. So, I combined the two requests for this post and rounded up a few no-hem jeans options I’ve found lately that are under $75. (More non-denim no-hem options coming soon). As in all of my denim/pants guides the options shown are unaltered. My measurements are below to help you gauge how they may fit you.

No-Hem Jeans Under $75
My Sizing: I’m 4’10” and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″ and 36″. My typical inseam is 25″. The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online.
Walmart Sofia Vergara Boyfriend Jeans in Short
- Rise: 8″
- Inseam: 26″
Starting out with the least expensive option – a boyfriend fit from Walmart. In general, Sofia Vergara jeans fit me well in short so there are more options in addition to this pair. The jeans in this post are stretchy with a low to mid-rise. They’re top of the list in terms of comfort for me. They loosen slightly with wear, but I consider them to be true to size.

Target Universal Thread Straight Jeans in Short

- Inseam: 26″
I found another affordable petite gem in Universal Threads jeans in short. I order these online, but I’ve heard from a reader they are also in-store, so you may have luck actually being able to try these on first. If ordering online, you’ll need to scroll to the right on the sizes to get to the short options The pair in this post is a straight fit with a high-rise. They are stretchy and comfortable. They’re lightweight and stretch with wear, but true to size. I have also tried a cropped bootcut fit from Target and styled them on my blog in this post and this post. (In hindsight I wish I picked a different top to wear with these jeans!)

J.Crew Factory Cropped Flare

- Inseam: 24″
The J.Crew Factory jeans in this post kept me from titling it “under $50″ because at their full price, these jeans are around $75. However, they often run sales, so keep an eye out for that! I find J.Crew Factory jeans are high-quality in general. The pair in this photo is thick and the 9” rise is perfect for me. They’re comfortable with light stretch and I personally love the cropped flare fit. J.Crew Factory jeans sell out quickly in petite, but each month they tend to release new styles so check back if you come across an out-of-stock option.

J.Crew Factory Straight Jeans
- Rise: 9.5″
- Inseam: 24″
This pair of J.Crew Factory straight jeans is shown cuffed on their website. It’s a little misleading, but in person, they have a great petite length. Like the cropped flare option above this pair is thick and well-made with comfortable light-stretch denim. They have a high 9.5″ rise.

If you’re looking for more budget-friendly petite jeans options, I recommend checking out American Eagle and Abercrombie (both brands offer extra short which is a great fit). I’ve also had many recommendations from readers about Old Navy jeans.
