Love it or hate it, it’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale time! I’m in the camp that loves this once-a-year chance to snag some deals on things for the next season. I’m not going to overload you with tons of posts about it, I’ll share this preview post that you can reference back to if you like, and I’ll share a try-on post once my order comes in. I scoured through the sale preview and pulled together a list of things that caught my eye, or things that I already have and love. I kept in mind that many of you are shopping for back-to-school and a return to the office! While I focused on clothing and accessories, I also included some things that caught my eye for my boys, I use the Nordstrom sale every year to grab some back-to-school clothes for them.
Petite Clothing Options
I spent a significant amount of time checking measurements on every clothing item to hopefully ensure a great petite fit in the things I’m sharing. Some of them caught my eye because they would be great for the office (something many of you said you were looking for). Some picks like the long cardigan in the number ten spot and the moto jacket at 12 are things I own and love. I haven’t tried any of the jeans or pants yet, but if I’m able to snag them I plan to order them to try on and share the fit with you. The joggers have a 23″ inseam in petite, so I’m very hopeful they’re going to fit us shorties!

Accessories and Shoes
I buy a pair of boots from the Nordstrom sale every year. I always feel like I don’t need them because it’s summer, but then when I miss out and they sell out, I get FOMO. I have plenty of booties and a pair of chelsea boots already, so I won’t be buying them, but I’ve included a couple in case you are looking for a pair. Personally, I’m going to go for the tall boots because I’m in need of a new pair. I like the color of the pair I put at number three, but they are “over the knee” so I’m not sure if they’re going to be too tall – we’ll see! The neutral mules would be great for work and the heels at number eight caught my eye as a great fall transition shoe. The best part is some of the shoes come in a size 4 and 4.5 for my friends with extra tiny feet. I’ve also linked some Kendra Scott jewelry that will be on sale as well a couple of Tory Burch crossbody bags, which are my favorite and they always sell out fast! The bag I linked at number two is a convertible bag which often means the straps will be adjustable and you can get the strap short enough to not hang past your hip. The sunglasses I linked are by a brand that typically fits smaller faces well!

Beauty Picks
Everything I’ve linked here I have personally tried and highly recommend. I just recently bought Olaplex, the three-part system that’s in the kit and it is AMAZING! My hair felt instantly softer and shinier, so that’s a top recommendation for me. I also just recently purchased a T3 curling iron and it most definitely lives up to its hype. My curls stay better and it doesn’t tug or pull on my hair.

Boys Back-To-School
My boys head back to school in early August (where has the summer gone?!) so I love using the sale as a way to start building their school wardrobe. I shy away from things I can find cheaper, like shorts and pants – but I do like buying shoes, jackets, and name-brand t-shirts that are discounted. They love hoodies and simple t-shirts. My picky nine-year-old helped me picked these things out!

Shopping Dates
Shopping always opens up to cardholders first and is tiered based on your level as a cardholder (AKA how much money you’ve spent at Nordstrom through the year). I’m a cardholder, but at the lowest level so I can shop on July 16th. The bummer about the tiered approach is often the best things sell out before you can even shop the sale, but I’m hopeful that some of my picks will still be available. If you’re interested in something I recommend going on their site now and building your wishlist. When your shopping window opens up you can quickly add your sizes to the cart and check out! The key with the Nordstrom sale is speed, things sell out quickly. Another benefit of the wishlist is keeping focus and the ability to think about what you really want instead of overspending on the sale day.
