The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! This is one sale I always love shopping and personally, I go for staple items like shoes, bags and (if I’m lucky) jeans. I say if I’m lucky because there are only a few petite jeans options that are part of the sale, but this year I found a pair that isn’t petite but happens to fit me well! I think you’ll love them too.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Finds
Treasure & Bond Cardigan
There are a lot of great sweaters that are part of the sale. I chose a long cozy cardigan and another pink dolman that I’ll share below. The cardigan is oversized, I have the sleeves rolled, and pushed up in this case, but they are a little bit long.
Jeans
I don’t have a Nordstrom close to me anymore which is a bummer, ours closed down in 2020 and it still makes me sad. So instead of being able to try things on in-store, I had to order online. I ordered several pairs of jeans to try, none of them were petite, but they were cropped, so I was hoping I would get lucky. All but one pair was a total fail for me, but the winner is really good. This pair of AG jeans are rigid, high-waisted and so flattering all around. They’re meant to be cropped, but on me (at 4’10”) they’re full-length and on-trend. I bought my usual size 24, but they are a little bit snug so you may want to size up for a more comfortable fit.

B.P. Mules
I love buying shoes from the sale and was really excited about these mules. I had a pair just like them a few years ago and wore them so much! The style went out for a little while, but I’m glad to see it’s back! The shoes run true to size and are great for transitional fall outfits with jeans and also with skirts and dresses.
Shoulder Bag
Almost all of my bags are crossbody. I’m such a creature of habit I start to buy the same thing over and over again. So I knew if I was going to buy a bag, it was going to be a different style! I landed on this shoulder bag in taupe. It’s roomy, but still not too big for a petite frame.
Open Edit Sweater
I’m really hoping Nordstrom has a secret stash of these pink sweaters in the back for public access to the sale. It’s currently sold out in this color, but don’t give up on checking if it restocks. I’m wearing it in XXS and I rolled the sleeves because they’re a little bit long.

Open Edit Blazer
Nordstrom brand Open Edit always comes through with modern pieces and I love that Nordstrom brands start at XXS, giving Petites a chance of a good fit. I snagged this blazer to try for the price point ($50 on sale) and for the relaxed modern style. Most of my blazers are a little more tailored and polished and my wardrobe could use a more oversized trendy style. It is definitely oversized on me in XXS, but it’s well made. The sleeves are long, but blazers like this are meant to be worn with the sleeves pushed or rolled up.
Halogen Sleeveless Top
I love a good layering top and this $15 option from Halogen makes for a great base layer. It’s silky and stretchy with a slim fit. I’m wearing it in XXS and there are other color options.

Open Edit Mules
I love the knotted detail on these flats and the slim profile at the top. They show a little more skin so your feet don’t look super long (that sometimes happens with mules). I sized up 1/2 size in these and find them to be comfortable overall.
Zella Shorts
These Zella shorts exceeded all of my expectations. They’re super comfortable and come in other colors! I’m wearing them in XS, I sized up because shorts like this are often tight around my hips.
Zella Packable Jacket
I really like this jacket – but it does run large. I’m wearing it in XXS and you can see it’s pretty roomy on me. You can adjust the drawstring to pull it up to your waist like I’m wearing it, or wear it straight.

If you’re shopping the sale, I say act fast! Items tend to sell out quickly, but they will often restock so keep an eye out for that!
